Here at lakeside you can find a bridge game almost every day. Some are more organized than others but all of them will welcome you.

Lake Chapala Duplicate Bridge Club

At the LCDBC we play a form of bridge call duplicate bridge. Duplicate bridge tends to be somewhat more competitive than contract bridge (sometimes called kitchen or rubber bridge) so it isn't for the absolute begginner. Our novice game, we call it the 99'er game, plays on Friday mornings. Our general open games, our biggest games (some times up to 24 tables), are on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. We also have open games on Monday and Friday afternoons which generally bring out the die hard bridge players (but it isn't a requirement) and we usually have between 8 to 14 tables.

Our full schedule is available on the menu to the left under Playing Days, along with directions to the club. Because bridge is a partnership game, players are expected to come to the club in pairs. If you do not already have a partner feel free to submit a partnership request using the form on the main menu and an e-mail will be sent to the membership to see who is available.

Guadalajara Bridge Club

This is a sister club to the LCDBC. It is located in Guadalajara near the Costco complex at Gabriel D'Annunzio 5184. Game times are 4:30pm on Monday's and Friday's. Mannix Restaurant

There is a Monday afternoon game at Mannix Restaurant, Ocampo 57, Ajijic. Players generally arrive around 1:00pm and play starts at 1:30. Players are welcome to come early and enjoy lunch at Mannix prior to the game. This is an easy going, non-threatening party bridge style game. Everyone is welcome. The cost is $15p per person, and for members (membership is $50p per year) prize money is given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place pairs. You are expected to have a partner but feel free to contact Alicia and she will see what she can do.
