We are getting more and more players out of the 99er group that are playing the afternoon games. Recently, one of our dynamic duos ran into the team of Wheat and Wheat. One of the duo interfered with the Wheat bidding process and the other partner motored up to 6 clubs which was doubled. Our duo, better left unnamed, set a personal bottom record by giving the Wheats a +2000 score. Barbara was heard to say she had not had that much fun since Bill came back from his last 6 month deployment (Bill was a Navy pilot) and Bill still has a grin on his face. Friday mornings do not seem like much fun to them now and they are looking forward to their next encounter with the afternoon group. They are a welcome addition to the game.

Dr Dave Celebrated 99 years of great living. The club (managed and supervised by Susan Lightfoote) threw a nice Birthday Party for one of our oldest members. He was accompanied by his harem of caretakers and beautiful niece. We are all looking forward to celebrating his 100 th Birthday so make your reservations now.

Jack and Val have just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. On behalf of the club we wish them Happy Anniversary and a fond hope that Jack shares his success secrets with the rest of us.
